    Description

Robert Webb and the S.M. Iger Studio Jumbo Comics #63 and Sheena Queen of the Jungle #6 Original Art Panel Page (Fiction House Publ., 1944-50). This splendid page served double-duty, appearing as Page 5 of the Sheena story in Jumbo #63 and as Page 16 of a retooled version in Sheena #6. The narrative remains consistent: A mob of criminals searches for a tribal secret, threatening jungle guide Sheena in the process. A 1950 retouching job (probably by studio newcomer Jay Disbrow) covers Sheena's bare midriff, as seen in the original printing. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Excellent condition.
