    Description

Robert Crumb There's No Business Title Page Original Art (Black Sparrow Press, 1984). Crumb captures the seedy setting of Charles Bukowski's story of a born-loser stand-up comedian on his last go-round of a failed career. A poetic delicacy suffuses Crumb's depiction of a last-ditch venue for the dregs of show business. Nor is there another letterer/logotype artist who can match Crumb for dynamic, concise design. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Slight toning, staining along the left edge, white-out corrections, with light handling wear. Signed by Crumb at the bottom. Dimensions, 9.75" x 12". Very Good condition.
