Robert Crumb R. Crumb Comics Limited Edition Folio Artist Proof #X/X with Sketch Original Art (Gingko Press, 1992). Although Fritz the Cat is Robert Crumb's best-known comics character, probably the one he drew most often was none other than himself. That's what makes this slim, oversized volume featuring three 1989 short stories so interesting: on the rear colophon page, Crumb has added a full-figure inked 5" x 5.5" sketch of himself, nude but demurely posed, with word balloons saying "That's Me!" and "Hi Girls" (Crumb is ever the ladies man), dated 1992. Stories are "The Story of My Life", "People... Ya Gotta Love "Em", and "I'm Grateful, I'm Grateful!". The book is an 11.25" x 14.25" hardcover, with cloth binding, a pasted-on title, and it comes with a slipcase. Minor handling wear. Overall, in Excellent condition.
