    Description

    Robert Carter - Political Editorial Illustration Original Art (c. 1910s). This cartoon shows a frazzled court system as told by editorial cartoonist, Robert Carter. Carter, who died in 1918, drew for various newspapers and magazines, but published in the New York Sun during his last years. Created in ink over graphite on thick illustration board with an image area of 17" x 18.5". The board is heavily toned, with some parts showing signs of brittleness, has water and/or moisture damage and staining, top right corner is missing, light creasing and creases pinholes, and foxing. In Good condition.
