Son destin bascule lorsque son oncle, forcé de fuir, lui confie la direction de son musée de cire. Entreprenante, ingénieuse, Marie fait alors du musée Curtius le rendez-vous du Tout-Paris de la Révolution. Ici la page la plus marquante de ce tome Jean-Paul Marat, assassiné chez lui le 13 juillet 1793 par Charlotte Corday. Gouaches, encre de Chine sur 7 cases contre collées sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 27 x 36 cm. En Excellente Condition.

Her fate changes when her uncle, forced to flee, entrusts her with the management of his wax museum. Enterprising and ingenious, Marie then makes the Curtius museum the meeting place for all of Paris during the Revolution. Here is the most striking page of this volume -- Jean-Paul Marat, assassinated at his home on July 13, 1793 by Charlotte Corday. Gouache and ink on 7 panels pasted on to a Bristol support board with an image area of 10.5" x 14". In Excellent condition.
