    Description

Philippe Druillet Le Mystère des Abimes (Le Terrain Vague and Dalmas / Losfeld, 1966). White out. Bulles collées, travail de la 6e case. Coins supérieur et inférieur droit légèrement pliés. Trace de manipulation. Signée, cachet de l'artiste. En Bonne Condition.
Philippe Druillet Le Mystère des Abimes (Le Terrain Vague and Dalmas / Losfeld, 1966). This rare board allows us to touch on the prelude to the 6 voyages of Lone Sloane. A space traveler, ejected from his ship in the depths of space and time, Lone Sloane is confronted with disturbing priests who need him and his humanity to invoke the Spirit of absolute evil, the "Dark God". In this very mystical and mythical adventure, Lone will finally succeed, by the sheer force of his will, to thwart these literally diabolical plans. Druillet, throughout his albums, will quite simply disrupt the storytelling habits of comics. He frees himself from the narrow frame of the panel and the board to compose authentic paintings with disheveled lyricism. Ink on thick board with an image area of 16" x 20". White out. Paste-ups balloons, work on the 6th panel. Upper and lower right corners slightly bent. Trace of manipulation. Signed, stamp of the artist. In Good condition.
