    Description

Etat parfait.
Philippe Berthet Sur la route de Selma Page 52 (Dupuis, 1991). Sur la route de Selma takes place in the sixties, in the heart of the American South. It is in this very "White Power" world that Clement Brown is plunged, a black man who has the misfortune of loving a white woman. Philippe Berthet's drawing is precise, seeing out fresh, flowing lines and using very cinematographic framing. As in this page, taken from the legendary sequence which unfolds in an airplane graveyard. Ink on Bristol board, with an image area of 11.75" x 15.5". Signed in the lower Right. In Excellent condition.
