DescriptionPaul von Klieben "Washoe Indian Papoose" Ghost Town Painting, Brochure, and Doll (1946). Outstanding 4' x 5' original painting from the hand of Paul von Klieben, the art director of Ghost Town. This painting hung in the Indian Room at the Steak House Restaurant in Ghost Town, and was showcased in the original Steak House brochure from 1946, which is included in the lot. Also from the Knott's Archives is an antique papoose doll, an almost exact match of this illustration. Was this the model for the painting?
