Paul von Klieben "Under Attack" Ghost Town Painting (c. 1940s-50s). Walter Knott's vision for Ghost Town evolved from his friendship with and belief in his official art director, Paul von Klieben. From the Knott's Berry Farm Archives comes this stunning von Kleiben original Western-themed painting which depicts a stagecoach, a scout drawing his rifle, and an approaching Indian attack. It is a magnificent piece of artwork measuring 67" x 56", within its original Ghost Town frame that has holes from where it was bolted to the wall. The oversized painting is signed by the artist in the bottom left corner. There is minor handling surface wear, staining and a few slight scratches; this is quite understandable considering it spent over 60 years on public display! Very Good overall condition.
