    Description

Paul Murry Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #374 Mickey Mouse Page 26 Original Art (Gold Key, 1971). The Mickey Mouse stories featured for years in the back pages of Walt Disney's Comics and Stories ran a very close second in popularity to the Carl Barks-penned Donald Duck tales kicking off each issue. Here's a great page from "The Pirates of Port Placid," and it features Mickey, Goofy, and Black Pete. Paul Murry began drawing the Mickey serials in 1950. This piece is from one of his last Mickey storylines, but the art retains the look of the classic earlier material so fondly remembered by those who grew up in the 1950s and 1960s. This thriller has an image area of 12" x 18", and it's in Excellent condition.

Today I received the catalog which is a work of art unto itself. When I found my lot I was literally blown away by what Craig had done with the presentation....... quite amazing to say the least!
