Paul Gulacy Master of Kung Fu #51 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). The first of only four covers that master illustrator Paul Gulacy would produce for his influential run on this series. It's Gulacy's first published comic book cover for any title, an amazing fact since he had already illustrated 26 Shang-Chi stories in this series and its sister Giant-Size series before this. This art has been off the market for over 20 years. A real stunner, the cover features both Shang-Chi, and in the background, the face of Fu Manchu. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The board has been folded and creased across the middle from the right side, and also on the lower left and upper right corners. Signed in the lower image area. It is matted to 17"x 24". In Very Good condition.
