    Description

Wally Wood Daredevil #5 Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1964). A Wood penciled and inked story is a pretty rare find! This was his first Marvel issue he had worked on since the 1950s. In this story he introduced the interlocking "Double D" chest emblem in this issue, and it and the horns were almost the only parts of the costume kept when Matt Murdock went to the all red togs in issue #7. The page is numbered as for Daredevil #6, however it was indeed published in issue #5 instead. Crafted twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". In Excellent condition.
