Description

Steve Rude and Gary Martin Nexus: The Origin (nn) Story Page 16 Original Art (Dark Horse, 1992). A page from Nexus' baby album features a baby Horatio with his mother Marlis, and father General Hellpop. A darker memory about the death of his mother includes his playmates on Ylum, Alph and Beta. (They may not be real.) This issue counts as Nexus #81 in the "whole-numbering system". It ran between the end of the First Comics series and before the first Dark Horse mini-series (Alien Justice). Created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on DC Bristol board. The art is edge-to-edge, and then some... as there is an additional Conte crayon and ink image (over blue pencil) on a section of coquille board affixed to the top of the page that runs off the top. This makes the overall page measurements 11.5" x 17". In Excellent condition.
