    Description

Steve Ditko - Tales of Suspense #29, page 4 Original Art (Marvel, 1962). Steve Ditko's storytelling style and idiosyncrasies set his work apart from his peers in the world of comic book creation. His trippy, other-worldly approach balanced delicate detail with "cartoony" design. This page from the Stan Lee/Steve Ditko horror collaboration, "It Was Only a Simple Barber Shop... or Was It??!,,,,," consists of classic Ditko design work, including close-up shots of a distressed character, with little or no background, which makes the world he inhabits seem as suffocatingly terrifying as the scope of the story itself. The art has an image area of approximately 12" x 18" and is in Excellent condition.
