Steve Ditko and Bob Layton Rom #59 Story Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 1984). Here's an unusual art pairing for you... Steve Ditko and Bob Layton! It was the first, but not the last time they worked together. Rom #79 was by the duo, as was the cover of Speedball #2, and the cover of Shadowman #6. This great page features Rom and Brandy Starshine after an encounter with shrinking gas, ants, and Ant-Man. The page is produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Two panels are stripped-in original art, and one word balloon is a stat held on with production tape.
