Description

Steve Ditko Amazing Spider-Man #22 Story Page 17 Original Art (Marvel, 1965). This series was two years old the month this issue was released. It was not the corner-stone of the Marvel Universe yet, but it would get there soon. From the story "The Clown and His Masters of Menace", this was the second time Spidey faced the Ringmaster and the Circus of Crime. They are another of those beloved C-level villain teams that just keep coming back for more! Fans love them for sure. Princess Python is looking all snakey and crazy on this great Ditko page created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". The board has pinholes in the corners, and some light glue residue staining (although there is no paste-up on the page). There are traces of foxing on some panels. Overall, in Very Good condition and a fantastic example of very early Silver Age Spider-Man fun!
