Description

Slick Chick Comics #3 Story Page 1 Kid Dixon Original Art (Leader Enterprises/Universal Phoenix Features, 1947). The first page of the story "All The Strings Aren't On The Big Purse!" It features Kid putting a gangster down for the count. The art has previously been attributed to both Klaus Nordling and Jack Kamen; however, Robert Webb also did some Kid Dixon stories, so this is a hard call to make. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The board is lightly toned, with some whiteout art touch-ups. Kid Dixon's right art is an original art paste-up. The logo is a state paste-up. Overall in Very Good condition.
