DescriptionSkip Williamson Parody of "Corpses ... Coast to Coast" Partial Story Original Art Group of 2 (c. 1970s). One of the most notorious pre-Comics Code horror stories is Ruth Ann Roche and Robert Webb's "Corpses ... Coast to Coast," which originated in Voodoo Comics #14 (Ajax; 1954) -- a tale of a governmental takeover by zombies. This two-page excerpt comes from Williamson's Underground Comix-style re-telling of that yarn, using much of Roche's authentic dialogue. The difference is Williamson's use of radical-left politics in lieu of walking-dead imagery. The publishing pedigree is undocumented. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 11" x 16.5". Moderate toning and wrinkling. Very Good condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
