DescriptionRuss Manning, Paul Norris, and Mike Royer Magnus Robot Fighter #28 Page 4 Original Art (Gold Key, 1969). It's 4000 A.D. in North Am, and man has become too dependent on his robot servants -- so it is that in "Threat From the Depths," Magnus battles a renegade serv-rob. This was to be the Russ Manning studio's last Magnus story. Written and inked by Mike Royer and penciled by Paul Norris, this yarn also had Russ Manning art touches in panels throughout the story. Mike Royer confirmed in a written note on the back of this page that Manning fully penciled the middle panel tier. Look closely -- the robot smashing, large middle panel shows the distinctive Manning approach. The approximate image area of this page is 12" x 18", and the art is in Excellent condition. Signed by Mike Royer at the lower right.
