Russ Heath G. I. Combat #129 Haunted Tank Page 11 Original Art (DC, 1967). Offered here is a superb Silver Age page from Russ Heath's long run on the DC war books, as a wounded Jeb Stewart Smith tries to single-handedly stop a Nazi flame-thrower crew. As usual with Heath's war work, the details are both beautifully rendered and historically accurate. A skillful use of black shadows lends unusual weight to the scenario. A truly classic scene from the high point of Heath's career. This piece has an image area of 10" x 15", and it's in Excellent condition. Inscribed and signed by Heath in panel two, in red marker.
