    Description

Robert Crumb Weirdo #7 "Uncle Bob's Mid-Life Crisis" Page 5 Original Art (Last Gasp, 1983). Chased out of the house by his wife, Bob heads out to his studio for some reflection and meditation before hitting the art boards, in this fifth page from the eight-page Weirdo story that Fantagraphics acclaimed one of the Best Comics of the 1980s. It's not easy being R. Crumb! Lots of great line work on this one, especially in the last three panels, where Crumb daydreams of old 78 records from his collection. The art is in ink on bristol, with an image area of approximately 11.5" x 16". There's an area of pale tan discoloration from framing, plus two pieces of archival tape on the back side of the art, otherwise it remains in Excellent condition.
