Description

Robert Crumb Weirdo #7 "Uncle Bob's Mid-Life Crisis" Page 2 Original Art (Last Gasp, 1983). Bob drags himself out of bed and makes his way into town, in page two of R. Crumb's existential eight-pager, drawn in larger magazine format for Weirdo in 1982. He lays it all out in the open for everyone to see -- fears and worries, thoughts of infidelity, misanthropic musings -- and his fans eat it up! And so did the critics - it was a Fantagraphics Best Comics of the 1980s. A great panel page, with Crumb drawing himself in every panel. The art in in ink on bristol, with an image area of 11.5" x 16". The back of the art board has two pieces of archival tape in the upper corners and the page has a slight bit of tanning from being light struck, otherwise the art is in Excellent condition.
