DescriptionRobert Crumb Hup #2 "The Meeting" Page 1 Devil Girl Original Art (Last Gasp, 1987). A happily settled-down Flakey Foont recalls his last meeting with Mr. Natural, where he was introduced to the nightmare-inducing Devil Girl, in this opening page to the 13-page story "The Meeting." Devil Girl, aka Cheryl Borick, remains R. Crumb's most intense comic character yet; her haunting face and zaftig body would beguile Flakey Foont (and many of Crumb's fans) throughout the 1980s. This page is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an approximate image size of 10.75" x 18". A nicely-detailed page, with a very scary Devil Girl appearance (her long tongue is in full display) in panel three. Signed in the first panel and again at the bottom of the page. Excellent condition.
