    Description

Robert Crumb Cavalier "Fritz the No Good" Page 11 Original Art (1968). "You guys musta all hated yer mothers..." Fritz attends his first meeting with the revolutionaries, and helps give Fuzzy's girlfriend Harriet some rough business in this page from the story originally serialized in Cavalier magazine, and later included as part of the 1969 R. Crumb's Fritz the Cat oversized book. Crumb's rather mean-hearted attitude toward women was often sited by his detractors (like fellow UG cartoonist Trina Robbins), and this page, done during a low time in Crumb's own first marriage, is evidence that the detractors were maybe on the right track. It's still a fun page with every panel packed full of detail. This piece has an image area of 9.75" x 12", and is in Excellent condition.
