    Description

Robert Crumb American Splendor #3 Story Page 3 Original Art (Harvey Pekar, 1978). Harvey's troubles at the supermarket were detailed in a five-page story titled "Standing Behind Old Jewish Ladies in Supermarket Lines". Here's Page 3, where Our Man finally gets home with his groceries, only to discover he forgot a few important items. Has that ever happened to you? Robert Crumb brilliantly portrayed his real-life pal going about his day-to-day existence in this acclaimed series of "slice of life" stories from the late 1970s. The artwork for this page is in ink with a small amount of whiteout on a sheet of spiral-bound Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 8" x 12". Very minor handling wear, overall Excellent condition. From the Graham Nash Collection.
