    Description

Reed Crandall Military Comics #18 Blackhawk Page 5 Original Art (Quality Comics, 1943). Midway through his first year depicting the legendary air war heroes the Blackhawks, Crandall had already become the artist that other artists learn from. In this page from "The Thunderer" Olaf and Chop Chop try to help a dying British agent who tells them they must travel to Tibet and find the Thunderer -- and off the go. Crandall delineates this dramatic moment spotlighting two comic members of the Blackhawks team with verve. This Crandall classic has an image area of 18" x 13". There are staples in the issue logo; otherwise, the art is in Excellent condition.
