DescriptionReed Crandall Feature Comics #103 Story Page 8 Doll Man Original Art (Quality, 1946). That pint-sized protector, Doll Man, has ants in his pants on this page. And when you are only six inches tall, that is a much larger problem than you might think! "The Queen of Ants" is not to be trifled with! There is a note on the backside of the page that states that the Reed Crandall pencils on this page were verified by personally by Bill Ward at some point. Also, there is a stamp that indicates this page once belonged to the King of Fans, Jerry Bails. This page of the tiny titan is produced at twice-up scale produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18". The page is lightly toned, with the top and bottom margins creased from a previous framing job. There are staple holes in the top margin and a bit of whiteout art correction across the page. A clear acetate sheet has been taped over the front from the back side edges to protect the page. Overall in Very Good condition. From the Ethan Roberts Estate Collection.
