Peter Bagge Neat Stuff #2 Story Pages 1-3 from "The Cabbage" Original Art Group of 6 (Fantagraphics Books, 1986). Bagge's early work gains renewed prominence in 2019 with the arrival of The Book of Weirdo (Last Gasp Publ.), a comprehensive history of Robert Crumb's Weirdo magazine -- in which Bagge was an essential player. Bagge's solo book, Neat Stuff, ran apace with Weirdo and introduced such memorable born-loser types as Junior, showcased in this extended sequence. Mama's-boy Junior, living on his own for the first time, terrifies himself with the prospect of gainful employment. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, measuring 12" x 16". Excellent condition. Signed and dated (a year before publication) at lower right.
