    Description

Paul Smith and Bob Wiacek Uncanny X-Men #173 Page 14 Original Art (Marvel, 1983). Wolverine feels the sharp sting of the Silver Samurai's mutant-powered katana, but Logan is certainly not down for the count. An action-packed page from the legendary Chris Claremont run on the series, with Smith's high-energy artwork earning him a legion of fans. For publication, the order of panels two and three was reversed with a photostat, which has since been removed, leaving a very light glue residue. Ink on Bristol board, the image area measures 10" x 15" and the artwork is in Very Good condition.
