    Description

Paul Gulacy Master of Kung Fu #29 Story Page 2 Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Gulacy's Steranko-like sense of design and detail makes a visual delight of an encounter between heroic Shang-Chi and Scotland Yard's Sir Denis Nayland Smith. A menace more immediate than Shang-Chi's evil father (Fu Manchu his ownself) demands decisive action: The villain known as Velcro poses a sticky challenge. Brilliantly cinematic composition, with almost a 3-D effect in the vertical juxtaposition of Panels 6 and 9. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Excellent condition.
