Description

Neal Adams, Tom Palmer, and Alan Weiss Avengers #96 Story Page 14 Original Art (Marvel, 1972). A key page from the epic Kree-Skrull War saga! This page featured that fateful line of dialogue, "Stop that vessel now leaving main ship -- at any cost -- including your Life!" Clint Barton did seem to give up his life as it wasn't until the last panel of the next issue before anyone even stopped to ask where was "...the Avenger called Goliath?" Note that Adams is credited as one of the inkers in addition to being the penciler. This page was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Lightly toned, with tape residue in the top and bottom margins, the page is in otherwise Excellent condition.
