DescriptionNeal Adams Green Lantern #85 Story Page 10 Original Art (DC, 1971). By the late 1960s and into the early 1970s, DC was trying to shake off its campy-comics Silver Age reputation. One of the most important comics they published (and one of the most important comics of the Bronze Age in general) was Green Lantern/Green Arrow #85. On this page, Oliver Queen has already taken an arrow to the arm earlier in the story as he and Hal Jordan (Green Lantern) attempted to track down Speedy. The story was titled "Snowbirds Don't Fly", however on this page they do. Panel 4 is one of the most powerful images in the issue, featuring a junkie having withdrawal symptoms. It was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The top left and bottom right corners are torn off, with a minor rip in the bottom right corner into the panel area (taped from the back). Overall the page is in Very Good condition with fantastic eye-appeal.
