    Description

Neal Adams and Tom Palmer Avengers #93 Story Page 33 Original Art (Marvel, 1971). The Kree-Skrull War was one of the greatest Marvel epics of all time, and the way Adams and Palmer harmonized on the art with Roy Thomas' scripting was a big reason why. Here, Goliath pounds a Skrull ship with a "giant hammering fist" in Part 5 of the long story arc, but it's not Hank Pym in those big buccaneer boots... it's Clint Barton (who used to be Hawkeye)! Barton gave up the arrow-slinging business for Pym's growth formula in issue #63. He would return to his Hawkeye identity in issue #98. So don't be surprised if Jeremy Renner suddenly "gets big" in one of the Marvel movies featuring Hawkeye! This page was crafted in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is a production oil stain on the left side, and some glue residue on the top half-splash page panel, and some touches of foxing. Light toning and handling wear. In Very Good condition with great eye-appeal.
