Description

Neal Adams and Frank Giacoia Green Lantern #78 Page 11 Original Art (DC, 1970). Neal Adams is considered by many to be the artist who, along with writer Denny O'Neil, kick-started the Bronze Age of comics, and this piece is sure to be a prized showpiece of any GL/GA fan. Adams' realistic approach to the art and emotional quality of his figure drawing were perfect for O'Neil's social commentary and that has made their run on the series one of the most respected in comic history. This is a wonderful example of the dark line and moody atmosphere that greatly added to the psychological reality of the characters. This Bronze Age bombshell, complete with a Black Canary cameo in the final panel, has an image area of 10" x 15", and aside from light overall paper aging, the art is in Excellent condition. Signed in the lower right margin.
