    Description

Murphy Anderson Secret Origins #21 "Black Condor" Story Page 2 Original Art (DC Comics, 1987). Raiders invade an expeditionary camp in the midst of a meteor shower -- a dynamic beginning to a revamped origin story for the 1940s character Black Condor. Anderson is at a sustained peak of brilliance, here, with as slick and seamless an ink-line as when he was helping to revitalize DC's superhero line during the 1960s. Ink over graphite on DC Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The top edge is irregularly trimmed, and there are art/text corrections at various points. Excellent condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
