    Moebius (Jean Giraud) L'Incal n°5 « La cinquième essence : Galaxie qui songe » Planche originale de la page 3 (Les Humanoïdes Associés, 1988). Page 3 de l'histoire « Inhumain », qui constitue le premier chapitre de « La cinquième essence ». John Difool a envie de tout lâcher ! Une splendide planche de l'un des fondateurs de Métal Hurlant. Le style de Moebius a fortement influencé l'esthétique du long métrage Heavy Metal, ses histoires d'Arzach ayant inspiré la séquence Taarna. Cette planche incroyablement détaillée, dessinée sur toute la largeur, est au crayon et à l'encre de Chine sur papier bristol de 36.8 x 49.5 cm. Signée par l'artiste en bas à droite. Tous les textes ont été collés. Légère pliure dans la partie inférieure. Excellent état.

Page 3 of the story "Inhuman!", which was the first chapter of "the Fifth Essence: Part One". On this page, John Difool quits! Gorgeous art from one of the founders of Metal Hurlant magazine, which spawned Heavy Metal in the US. Moebius' art was instrumental in the look and feel of the Heavy Metal movie, as his "Arzach" stories inspired the "Taarna" sequence. This amazingly detailed page was created edge-to-edge in ink over graphite on 36.8 x 49.5cm (14.5" x 19.5") Bristol board. Signed by the artist in the lower right. All text is hand-lettered paste-up. There minor crease in the lower portion. In Excellent condition.
