    Description

Moebius (as Jean Giraud) Super As - Lt. Blueberry Story Page 27 Original Art (France Unide Paris, c. 1979-80). The page from a French publication was reprinted in the Marvel Comics' Epic Graphic Novel: Blueberry #4 "The Ghost Tribe" in 1990. It was the last page of the first chapter of "Book Seven: The Long March". Although signed as "GIR" in the lower right, the artist is more well-known as "Moebius" for his sci-fi work in Metal Hurlant and Heavy Metal magazine. This insanely detailed page showcases his passion for authenticity in his Western stories. Rendered in sharp, crisp lines of ink over graphite on two sections of Bristol board that have been trimmed and mated together with tape on the reverse side. The combined pieces have an image area of 16" x 21.75". In Excellent condition.
