Description
Mike Vosburg and Bob Smith Secret Society of Super-Villains #15 Story Page 11 Justice Society of America Original Art (DC, 1978). From the very last published issue of this fun Bronze Age title! The series was a victim of "The DC Implosion" which resulted in the sudden cancellation of 20 titles. This page from "The Wizard's War of the Worlds" features stat images of the Justice Society of America in the background; however, the Golden Age Atom in the tube is original art. Also of note, the villains include the Wizard, the Floronic Man, Star Sapphire, and Reverse-Flash (aka Professor Zoom). That last name will be familiar to fans of TV's Flash and Legends of Tomorrow as Eobard Thawne has been a recurring streak of bad luck for the heroes of those shows. This page is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The page is lightly toned, with production tape residue in the margins, and a bit of glue residue near the two paste-up stats. Overall in Excellent condition.Auction Info
