Description

Master Comics #6 Story Page 1 (Fawcett, 1940). An extra-large piece, smartly illustrated by an undocumented first-generation comic-book artist. The tale of El Carim, Master of Magic, opens with a bold rescue from a three-alarm fire. The four-tier composition of small panels makes for an arresting composition. Speaking of arresting, that's what El Carim uses -- his Arrestor gizmo -- to prevent a disaster. A rare classic from the dawn of the Golden Age. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 14" x 19". Excellent condition.
