Lily Renee Rangers Comics #34 Werewolf Hunter Title Page 1 Original Art (Fiction House, 1947). Title page from the "Werewolf Hunter" story from this issue, with a great opening splash panel. The art was produced by Lily Renee, one of the only women working in the very male-dominated field of comic art, in the late 1940s. The story was presented as being written by the main character himself, Armand Broussard, when in fact it was likely written by Lily Renee. This page is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.25" x 18.5". There are extensive blue pencil notations on the page to denote color codes for publishing. The page has an overall tanning, and some of the paste-up elements are yellowing. In Good condition.
