Description
Julio Ribera - Sci-Fi Splash Page and Panel Page Original Art (c. 1980-90s). Spanish born artist Julio Ribera moved to France in the 1950s and began turning out a regular stream of fantastic work. He worked for Pilote in 1965, created "Dracurella" in 1973, and in 1975 he co-created "Le Vagabond des Limbes [The Limbo Vagabond]". These two pages seem to be from his 1980-90s output. The splash page has a taped in art correction in the top left corner. There are a couple of small rips in the art area there. The panel page has minor handling and corner damage. The pages were created in ink on oversized bright white paper with an image area of approximately 17.5" x 21". Overall in Excellent condition. From the Al Williamson Collection.More information about European superhero comic artist. See also: Unidentified European superhero comic artist, Artist.
