It is creating figments of their imaginations to torment them. But with the Badger, how can you be sure he is real or not? ...that boy is crazy. This page by guest-penciler Garcia-Lopez really swings with that Steve Rude rhythm. Created in ink over graphite on First Comics Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.5".
