    Description

Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez Jonah Hex #1 Story Page 17 Original Art (DC, 1977). One of the most important DC characters to be introduced during the Bronze Age was "antihero" Jonah Hex, who made his story debut in All-Star Western V2#10 (1971). The disfigured bounty hunter was granted his own title in 1977, and from that premiere issue we present the final page from "Vengeance for a Fallen Gladiator." The art is in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". The artboard shows considerable tanning of the "Next Issue" blurb in the last panel, and there are a couple of pieces of yellowed tape in the top and bottom margins; otherwise, the condition is Excellent. The art is signed by Garcia-Lopez in the bottom right corner.
