Jose Delbo and Joe Giella Detective Comics #497 Story Page 9 Original Art (DC, 1980). If the art should remind you of a classic Silver Age job, that's because old-timer Giella applied to it the same crisp pen-and-brush work he had brought to the mid-century revivals of The Flash and Green Lantern. The page is a study in desperate suspense, involving an attempt to charge Barbara Gordon, alias Batgirl, with murder.Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Excellent condition.
