Joost Swarte From a Peddler to a King Original Art (Futuropolis, 1976). From a background in design, Swarte gravitated toward comics after discovering America's underground comics (notably those by Robert Crumb), which he combines with the impeccable line of Hergé's Tintin. The legendary album 30/40 Swarte presented his work in France for the first time. This page (11.5" x 14.5"), drawn in India ink, is one of the most beautiful from this book. Excellent condition.
