DescriptionJon Chester Kozlak - All-American Comics, Atom Story page 6 Original Art (DC, 1940s). Poor Percy has freaky-big pointed ears, which apparently makes him the subject of discrimination -- but that's no excuse for turning to crime, and when Percy lifts some priceless jewels, the diminutive Atom steps in to put the situation right. This vintage gem is a prime example of the kind of bold, simple storytelling that reigned supreme in the Golden Age. And, as an added bonus, it's the last page of the story, and features a terrific head-shot of the Mighty Mite in the last panel. We're not sure exactly which issue this appeared in (the last Atom story in All-American was in issue #72, so the #87 might indicate that it is unpublished), but is probably from late in the run. The artwork measures 14.5" x 22.5" and is in Excellent condition with some creasing in the top right corner, and overall aging. It's a major bit of Golden Age cool, so don't delay your frantic bidding on this classic superhero page.
