DescriptionJohn Romita Sr. and Mike Esposito (as Mickey Demeo) Amazing Spider-Man #39 Story Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1966). It was 1966, and John Romita, Sr. was about to become a star. This is from his first issue on ASM, and over the course of his tenure on this title, he would make Spider-Man not just Marvel's main mascot, but pretty much a household word! This specific page is from "How Green Was My Goblin" and has some great tropes from the series... Spidey retrieving his clothes (or camera sometimes) while hanging from webbing, a costume change, and even the Green Goblin on his Goblin Flyer! This is also the page that is the beginning of the Green Goblin finding out ol' webhead's real identity of Peter Parker. It's a doozy created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". In Excellent condition.
