DescriptionJohn Romita Sr. and Mike Esposito (as Mickey Demeo) Amazing Spider-Man #39 "How Green Was My Goblin!" Page 15 Original Art (Marvel, 1966). This is one incredibly important key page from Spider-Man's history! This is the page where the Green Goblin actually learns that Spider-Man is really Peter Parker. The Goblin knowing Parker's secret identity will cause poor Petey more heart-break and trauma than a super-hero should have to withstand. This was from "Jazzy" John Romita Sr.'s first issue on what would become his landmark run on the title. You can already see a great difference in his version of Parker over Ditko's. Peter looks slightly older, and more confident... which makes sense with all that has happened to him in the previous 38 issues. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.5". Slight tanning, otherwise in Excellent condition. Excelsior!
