Description

John Romita Sr. and Jim Mooney Spectacular Spider-Man Magazine #1 and Amazing Spider-Man #116 Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1968/1973). This smashing battle page first appeared in the magazine-format Spectacular Spider-Man #1. The art was created in a 10.5" x 15" aspect ratio for that format. Five years later, the art was extended down the page to 15.75" tall to format it to reprint in Amazing Spider-Man #116. One other very tiny addition... eyes were added to Spider-Man's mask, as he was wearing a children's costume mask at this time in 1973, not his real mask. The art was created in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board. The board is lightly tanned, with some handling and wear, and there is a bit of production oil on the page. Overall in Very Good condition.
