    Description

John Romita Jr. and Bob Layton Iron Man #126 Story Page 3 Original Art (Marvel, 1979). This page recaps a key (and tragic) event from Iron Man #124 that resulted in the death of the Carnelian Ambassador in front of a large crowd of reporters. Justin Hammer had hacked Iron Man's systems, and it drove Tony Stark to find the "Demon in a Bottle". One of the most important and character-defining story arcs in Iron Man's history. This issue was written by David Michelinie with "conceptual assist" by Bob Layton. The art was created from a breakdown by John Romita Jr. with finished pencils, Zipatone, and inks by Layton. The image area on the Bristol board page measures 10" x 15". Signed by Layton in the bottom margin. There is production tape in the margins. In Excellent condition.
